Tailgating has long been a tradition associated with college football. War Memorial Stadium has a number of different tailgating options that will accommodate all fans. Please take a moment to review the different options below to see what fits your needs the best.
RESERVE TAILGATING
The newest tradition at War Memorial Stadium is Reserve Tailgating. Sold as a season package, fans can reserve one of over 400 spaces on the War Memorial Golf Course located directly across the street from the stadium. Prices are $120 per space. There are no trailers allowed in the reserved tailgating area. Fans have to agree and sign the rules and regulations for tailgating. Spaces sell out every year. COMMERICAL TAILGATING
Commercial Tailgating is available on the North Lawn, along Markham Street just in front of the stadium. This space is available for corporate tailgate parties. Businesses can purchase space on a per game basis at $650 per space. Interested companies are asked to contact Jerry Cohen at 501-663-6385 for more information.
GENERAL TAILGATING
General Parking/Tailgating on War Memorial Golf Course is one of the longest standing traditions at the stadium. Fans line up early in the morning to get the best spaces. General Parking/Tailgating is available on a first come basis, and fans pay the $20 fee when they arrive. There are no trailers allowed in the general tailgating area. Entrances into the General Parking/Tailgating section are available in two locations. Fans can enter off Interstate 630 onto Fair Park heading north and turn onto Clubhouse Drive. Or fans can enter from Markham to Taylor Street. Parking attendants will direct each vehicle to the next available space.
SPECIALTY TAILGATING
War Memorial Stadium has spaces available for large grills. Fans are asked to contact Nancy Toland for pricing and availability at 501-663-6385.
WAR MEMORIAL STADIUM RESERVED TAILGATING
POLICY AND PROCEDURES
The War Memorial Stadium Reserved Tailgating Policy and Procedures are in place to insure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all involved. War Memorial Stadium personnel appreciates your assistance in adhering to these guidelines.
DIRECTIONS: The reserved parking area is located on the War Memorial Golf Course at the intersection of Markham and Fair Park Blvd. Access will be from Fair Park off of Markham.
SET UP: The Reserved Tailgating area will be open at 6am the morning of each game. The tailgating space is designed to accommodate one vehicle and a 10’ x 10’ tent. The tent must be set up directly behind or in front of your vehicle. Please stay within the white lines of your space. The Reserved Tailgating area will be closed to traffic promptly at 10:30am. No vehicles will be allowed in the area after this time. Access to Reserved Tailgating will be granted by foot only after 10:30am.
AFTER GAME: The golf course will close two (2) hours after the game. Any vehicles that remain on site will be towed at owner’s expense. War Memorial Stadium is not responsible for items or vehicles at any time.
PARKING PASSES: Parking passes are to be displayed on vehicles at all times. Vehicles will not be allowed on premises without parking pass. Any vehicle found on premises without pass displayed will be towed at owner’s expense. This policy will be strictly enforced. Only one parking pass issued per tailgating space. Duplication of passes is strictly prohibited. Any duplication of passes will be subject to immediate removal from premises and tailgating privileges revoked permanently.
RESERVED TAILGATING RULES:
Only small cooking grills allowed in area.
Dispose of charcoal in red charcoal bins only. Disposal bins are located near portable toilets.
Tailgaters are asked to not leave burning charcoal unattended at any time.
All beverages must be in plastic or aluminum containers. NO GLASS CONTAINERS OR KEGS WILL BE ALLOWED.
All trash is to be bagged and left at perimeter of the golf course.
No private golf carts, all terrain vehicles or motorcycles will be allowed in tailgating area.
Sale or distribution of products, including food or beverage is strictly prohibited.
No trailers, upholstered furniture, private portable toilets, or large grills are allowed in tailgating area.
War Memorial Park is a public park and all tailgaters are subject to the rules and regulations of the City of Little Rock. Please be respectful to those around you.
