(Little Rock, AR) – Breast cancer survivors, volunteers, and community leaders gathered at War Memorial Stadium to announce a new training program for women to prepare for the 2009 Susan G. Komen For the Cure race.

The training program allows for 500 women to meet twice a week at War Memorial Stadium to work on technique and improve stamina to finish the October 17th race. 

Training begins on Labor Day, Monday, September 7 at 6:30pm and will continue each Monday and Thursday until the race.
